Requirments
While we want to allow everyone to shoot (and have fun) in our ranges, the serious nature of shooting firearms means that we must be sure some ground rules are in place. To avoid any problems on your visit to the range please thoroughly read the below requirements.
Unsafe gun handling in the lobby may prevent you from being rented a lane for the day, this includes members. Firearms outside of the range bay may only be uncased by range staff at the counter. All firearms brought into the building must be cased and unloaded (except handguns on a ccw permit).
All adults (18+) must have a physical government issued Photo ID. Passports are acceptable, school and work IDs are not.
All minors, must be signed in by a PARENT.
One person in a group must be 21 or older in order to purchase ammunition.
In order to rent a firearm, you must be in a group of two or more.
In order to rent a lane, one adult in the group must be able to show the ability to safely operate a handgun (load, unload, and shoot without breaking the main 3 safety rules.) We reserve the right to test gun handling at the counter before allowing entry to the range.
One shooter in each group must understand English well enough to convey range commands to other members of their group.
No pregnant women will be allowed entry to the range bays (for the safety of the baby). Likewise, we recommend breastfeeding mother to stay away from shooting.
We allow all firearms chambered in handgun cartridges up to and including .44 magnum. NO SHOTGUNS or RIFLE CARTRIDGES will be allowed to be fired at our ranges.
Ammunition brought into the range must be full metal jacket or all lead. NO hollow points, half jackets (soft point, jacketed soft point), wolf brand, steel jacket or steel core, or tracer ammo allowed.
If you think it’s a good idea to come shoot while smelling of weed or alcohol, you should look for some other place to shoot. We will obviously bar anyone believed to be under the influence from shooting.
Anyone legally prohibited from posessing a firearm will not be allowed entry to the range. Felons, those conviceted of domestic violence, or convicted of discoualifying misdemeanors within the last 10 years.
- Non-lethal (pepperball, burna, etc.), bb, pellet, paintball, pneumatic or airsoft guns of any kind may be shot on the range.
Ammunition purchased from the Firing-Line may not leave the building. In accordance with CA State Law.
